Sometimes customers ask the question as’ Is there any advantage of the resin content at certain rate’. As we know, the resin is major content for making solid surface sheet. Meanwhile, the resin price is high, so to save the raw material cost of making the solid surface sheet, some factory will reduce the content rate of the resin. So, sometimes, when I introduce our solid surface sheet to the customers, will mention that our solid surface sheet is better quality as the resin content is at certain rate. Then customers will ask me back’ is there any advantage that resin content is at certain rate’? then I will explain to our customers as following:

1.     Our production line is auto-casting production lines, which will request the resin content of our raw material should be at certain rate, which rate will be higher than the manual production lines, and the certain rate content of resin will make sure that the mixed raw material could be towards to the auto-casting production line;

2.     As the solid surface sheet is popularly applied for the kitchen countertops, bathroom countertop and other many kinds of commercial application, so the better quality solid surface sheet should be anti-bacterial, non- penetration, acid&alkali resistance, chemical resistance, scratch resistance, heat resistance, easy to repair&maintenance, stain resistance, all of these will request the resin content of the solid surface sheet is at certain rate. Have been in the Solid Surface Sheet for several years. There are always many customers asking why your Solid Surface Sheet is more expensive than many factories or manufacturers. Today, here, we will talk a little about the question.

1.     Our production line is auto-casting production lines. As you know, the auto-casting production lines requests the resin content rate of the raw material is higher than that one for the manual production line. Otherwise, the resin content rate is lower, the raw material will not easier to towards to the production line. As the resin cost is the major cost part of the solid surface sheet. This is one reason why our solid surface sheet price is higher than many other factories and manufacturers.

2.     Our ATH is real ATH, not the calcium powder. The mineral filler of our solid surface sheet is real ATH. But some factories, in case of save cost, they will use calcium powder for mineral filler to be instead of ATH, as ATH price is higher than calcium powder. 3.     Our solid surface sheet contains many kinds of auxiliary agent, which will increase the performance of the solid surface sheet. Do you know how to prolong the service life of quartz stone

Quartz stone has a comprehensive advantage of other materials, but during the using quartz stone will also be damaged, then how to prolong the service life of quartz stone?

1.    a sharp weapon may damage the surface of the quartz stone or the quartz stone itself. Though Quartz is with high hardness in the composite materials, has a very high impact scratch ability, as long as it will not be damaged by a sharp weapon, usually quartz stone will not be worn. If there is stubborn stain on the quartz stone countertop and is particularly difficult to be cleared, can try to use a gently scraping tool to remove it, meanwhile avoiding to use high hardness tool to scratch the quartz stone countertop.

2.    the high temperature will damage to the quartz stone countertop. Although the quartz stone is excellent heat resistance, generally will not be damaged by high temperature, as any materials is thermal expansion and contraction. High temperature may change the internal structure of the material, and longtime using under the situation of overheating will lead unexpected damage to the quartz stone. Therefore, in the process of use should avoid open fire barbecue the quartz stone countertop, and do not put high temperature containers directly on the quartz stone countertop, should use the pot pad to protect the quartz stone countertop.

Maintenance of the solid surface basin-no dirty sanitary environment

The bathroom is usually very wet. Long time use of the solid surface, there will be inevitably stains, so please remember to clean the solid surface basin often.

1.Keep the solid surface basin bright and clean. Cleaning with the soft brush or sponge dipping with neutral cleaning. If the solid surface basin scaling, could be cleaned by the washing powder, toothpaste, toilet detergent or concentration of 5% of weak acid. Can not use wire brushes, or hard brush, acid and alkali chemical reagent or solvent to wipe or scrub, because it will make the surface of the solid surface basin fine scratches, so that it becomes rough and prone fouling.

2.Avoid impacted by the hard objects or heavy objects.

Types of kitchen quartz countertops

1.Depending on the color, our quartz stone countertop could be classified as single color, bi-color, luxury vein

colors;

2.Depending on the thickness, our quartz stone countertop could be classified as 12mm, 15mm,20mm,30mm. As

quartz stone is high hardness, this is advantage of quartz stone, but also the disadvantage of the quartz stone.

Because of the high hardness, if there is any serious crack or impact suddenly, quartz stone or quartz stone

countertop will be easy to break, especially the 12mm ones, as it is thinner. And if the quartz stone or quartz

stone countertop is break, it will be hard to repaired.so normally, we suggest that if the

countertop or quartz stone slab is not long or wide, could try to use the 12mm. But if the quartz stone slab or

quartz stone countertop is long or wide, it is better to use the 15mm,20mm or 30mm ones. Actually, currently

the 15mm and 20mm is much more popular ones, as the thickness is well situated and will be not heavy, so it is

easier for fabricator to operation. But the 30mm ones will be too thick and the quartz stone slabs will be much

more heavier, then when fabrication, it will be hard to operation.

3.Depending on the length and width, our quartz stone slab could be classified as 2440*760mm,

3000/3050/3200*1400/1500/1600mm. the 2440*760mm is made on the small vacuum pressed machine, so its

compactness will not good as the big ones, though the material for them are the same. Then when choosing the

quartz stone slab, it is better to choose bigger ones.  

How do our factory to produce solid surface sheet

There is acrylic solid surface and acrylic modified solid surface sheet of our NEQ solid surface sheet.as you know, solid surface sheet is popularly applied for the countertop as it is various color and luxury appearance, but do you know how we produce the beautiful materials?

The difference of acrylic solid surface sheet and acrylic modified solid surface sheet is the resin. The resin for acrylic solid surface sheet pure acrylic resin, but the resin for the acrylic modified one is the unpolyster resin and MMA. When we produce solid surface sheet, first, we will prepare the resin, ATH, chips, pigment, auxiliary agent such as antifoaming agents, ultraviolet absorbent and so on, which will make the solid surface material good performance. All the raw material should be at regular content rate. Second, all the raw material will be putted into a stirred tank and will be mixed completely. Then the mixed raw material will be auto casted to the production lines. There will be protect film on the production line to protect the material not to stick on the production line and to make the solid surface sheet’s surface smooth. Then the material will solid slowly as it will release heat for the raw material react on the production line. When the raw material arrives the end of the production line, it will solid completely and become solid surface slabs and the solid surface slab will be cut into request size. After the first step of production, solid surface sheet will be sent to sanding after left from production line for a whole day. Then will be repaired if there is some tiny impurity or hole on the surface. After one days later, the solid surface sheet will be polished. Then the solid surface sheet will be packaged and sent to the warehouse.

Tips for Installing Solid Surface Countertops

I. In order to ensure the installation quality of the solid surface countertop, you need to pay attention to the several points before installation.

1. When doing graphic design, should pay attention to the physical properties of solid surface material, avoid cracking due to thermal expansion and contraction or stress concentration, must give full consideration to select the joints of feeder position, to avoid connection at the corner or mouth bit, such as shown in Figure 1-1:

2. When designing the corner of solid surface contertop, should give full consideration to the stress concentration may cause cracking at the corner solid surface countertop, so when do fabrication, should keep all the radius of corner is more than 25mm arc angle, such as shown in Figure 2-1:

3. When do design of the stove hole, its location should be away from the edge of the solid surface countertop more than 80 mm, preventing cracking of the stove hole. First, cutting with cutting machine or curve sawing first to make hole, then grinding trimming by hand mill or gong machine, to make the trimming smooth, four corners of the circular arc radius uniform. As the hole edge cutting by curve sawing or cutting machine, there will be serrated seal or even residual crack, it is easy to cause cracking. As shown in Figure 3-1:

4. The hole angle radius of the stove hole should be more than 25mm. must use homogeneous plate to reinforce the angles of the four sides "as shown in the figure", there should be certain space between shaft and the solid surface countertop and the spatial distance should be 4mm-6mm. also there should be insulation cloth and tin foil insulation around the hole to protect the solid surface countertop. As shown in Figure 4-1:

5. When design the solid surface countertop, should consider the stairs, elevators, doors and other transport channels which will limit the size of the solid surface countertop. The site joint should meet the requirements of the joint seam.

6. The gap between solid surface countertop and wall, cabinet (As shown in Figure 6-1), which can effectively guarantee the solid surface countertop will not crack expansion and contraction.

7.When designing the solid surface countertop support or support plate, should make sure the maximum distance is not more than 600 mm, to reduce the deformation or fracture of solid surface countertop.

Bathroom Pedestal Sink Installation Instructions

1. Laying the sink on the column, moving it to make it contacting with the column anastomosis, and then moving the whole pedestal sink carefully to the appropriate the installation location.

The Classification of Countertops

1. Man-made stone countertops
Artificial stone can be divided into artificial acrylic stone and artificial quartz stone.

The Maintenance Methods Of Freestanding Bathtubs

1. Treat the stains softly

Brushing the stain on the freestanding bathtub by toothbrush dipped in bleaching powder water. It can remove stains, eliminate mildew. If there is stubborn stain, could also try using a half lemon dipped in salt, or using soft bristled toothbrush coated with whitening function of toothpaste to brush.
